The Risk Avoided dashboard quantifies the financial value WitnessAI generates by intercepting harmful or non-compliant AI prompts before they reach language models. It breaks down total risk avoided into three categories: Prompts Blocked (malicious or policy-violating prompts stopped at runtime), Data Protection (regulated or sensitive data prevented from leaving the organization), and Proprietary Info Leak (source code and confidential intellectual property protected from exfiltration). The ROI Configuration panel allows administrators to input the financial metrics WitnessAI uses to calculate risk avoided and cost saved. Entering your organization’s actual values, the dashboard displays ROI figures that reflect your specific business metrics.

Productive and non-productive keyword lists help the AI Value scoring engine accurately classify prompts as productive work versus personal use or waste. The “View methodology & sources” link explains the calculation framework, and “Reset to defaults” restores industry-standard benchmarks sourced from IBM, Gartner, and other research organizations.
